How to align equations by equal sign in MS Office Word
Recently, actually a few minutes ago, one of my friends asked me how to align equations by their equal signs. He wanted to align all equations by their equal sings. (You can clearly see what I'm talking about in the image below. I have typed four equations and they are not aligned by their equal sings.)
- avoid typing these equations as separate equations. Yes, that is what we always do. We type the first equation and hit the big enter button, and then we type the second one and hit enter, and we type the third one... so on. But in our case, we have to type all these equations in one box.But how to do that? It's easy, we just have to press shift + enter
- Now we have typed our equations in the correct way. Now the easy part. The next thing we have to do is to move our mouse pointer to the left of the equal sign of the first equation and left click there. Now you can see the cursor is blinking there like below.
- Align at this Character

NOTE!
If your equations are still not aligned properly just change your paragraph alignment options
Thank you for reading this and I hope you found something useful from this post. And actually, this is the first blog post I posted.
